Electroplated diamond grinding pins shows high material removal rate, long service life and superior quality. Diamond and CBN grinding pins are widely used on jig and internal grinding machines, cylindrical grinding machines and hand tools. These grinding pins are used for internal grinding of dies, special punches, cutting tools.
 

Diamond Applications
Diamond is used for grinding hard, brittle and abrasive materials, but it is not suitable for grinding high carbon steels. This is because iron has an affinity for carbon (which is diamond) at a high temperature. 
Diamond Tools are suitable grinding tungsten carbide, stone and marble, composite material, cearmics, glass, non-ferrous materials, reinforced plastics, ferrite etc.

CBN Applications
Cubic boron nitride (CBN) is man made it. It is a chemical bond of the elements boron and nitrogen with cubic lattice structure made in high temperature, high pressure process. It is available in different grades and sizes. CBN is particlarly designed for grinding hardened steels. CBN is second only to diamond in its hardness.
CBN is used for grinding high carbon steels(over 0.7%), such as high speed steel, tool steel, die steel, stainless steel, bearing steel, nickel super alloy, cobalt or nickel based hard high temperature materials.
